Administrative Positions: 
Ward secretaries, Receptionists & Debtors clerks

Job Responsibilities:

·         Restores and promote patient's health by attending to the patient's administrative needs

·         Collaborates with physicians and multi-disciplinary team members

·         Provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families

·         Identifies patient care requirements by establishing personal rapport with patients and their families

·         Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual

          support to patients, friends, and families

·         Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations

·         Maintains continuity among teams by documenting and communication actions, irregularities, and

          continuing needs

·         Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential

·         Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements; calling for

          repairs; and evaluation new equipment and techniques

·         Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results needed

 

Qualifications/Skills:

·         Multitasking, listening, and verbal communication skills

·         Time management

·         Good documentation and administrations skills

·         Very good personal relations

Minimum requirements:

·         Grade 12

·         Minimum 2 years’ experience within Private Healthcare institution advantageous

·         Strong organizational and leadership skills

·         Proven work ethic and ability to work under pressure

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with

          medical practitioners, visitors, patients and colleagues

·         Fluency in English.  Additional languages will be an advantage

·         Demonstrable evidence of IT skills

·         Namibian citizenship or residency status
